Job Summary:

Work together with Brand  Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Media and CRM teams to help analyze data for SEGA’s  PC and console games. The ideal candidate is data-obsessed and has solid experience using large datasets to create insightful reports and drive strategies for improving SEGA’s relationships with its customers. The Data Analyst will focus on implementing and analyzing metrics in order to guide projects to launch and ensure their continued success post-launch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Together with Brand Marketing, Media and CRM teams create strategies and measure success of campaigns, channels and customer segments performance, to help drive performance and campaign efficiency
  • Develop and maintain highly functional dashboards to monitor top of funnel brand engagement metrics and bottom of funnel media and sales performance KPIs
  • Leverage campaign performance data to identify ways to optimize marketing spend
  • Quantify the effects of community social media engagement and earned/owned media coverage on game sales KPIs
  • Combine survey and purchase data to understand how SEGA’s customers behave
  • Using tools like Pathmatics, run competitor media and creative analysis and surface regular reports to SEGA’s Creative Services and Media team
  • Produce ad hoc reports on various facets of business performance
  • Assist in design and implementation of statistical testing, like A/B testing and predictive analytics, for improving creative design and user experience for websites and other owned media
  • Analyse email campaign effectiveness, run cluster analysis, and suggest segmentation strategies
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity and make actionable recommendations that will in turn help to improve customer lifetime value and reduce churn

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-2+ years of full-time work experience in data analytics
  • Degree with a specialization in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with designing visualizations either in Tableau, another BI software (e.g. PowerBI or Looker), or an open-source plotting package (e.g. ggplot in R or matplotlib/seaborn in Python)
  • Proficiency with querying data from relational databases using SQL or another query language
  • Experience communicating analytical results to a non-technical audience
  • Comfort with working with cleaning, organizing, and validating messy or unstructured data
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for formatting ad hoc reports

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience retrieving data from API endpoints or using web scraping
  • Experience with cloud or distributed computing services, i.e. AWS Redshift, Databricks, etc
  • Formal work experience in the advertising or video games industry
  • Understanding of microtransaction-driven business and “games as service” models

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Brand Director, the Brand Manager is responsible for developing and driving the continued growth of some of the biggest SEGA lPs in the west.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of brand and marketing strategies for the product’s entire lifecycle
  • Assist in developing goals and objectives for your team members to improve efficiency and motivation
  • Execute on consumer product, channel, and first party partnership opportunities
  • Oversee large-scale events, production and promotions, broadcasting operations, sponsor relationships, program management, and player interfacing
  • Work closely with the cross functional and international teams to ensure development, marketing, and sales executions are integrated and aligned with the project’s strategic and financial goals
  • Identify areas of concern in the execution of the brand plan and course correct to maximize the success of the product
  • Develops and manages asset library for assigned titles; Oversees the creation and delivery of assets (trailers, screen shots, logos, etc.) by working with internal departments and external vendors as required and delivers assets to internal partner organizations and external partners when necessary
  • Analyzes consumer research and business data to intelligently develop marketing investments
  • Manages creative production of advertising and core brand assets including but not limited to trailers, packaging, special edition content, social media, etc.
  • Understands the media landscape, recognizes opportunities, and demonstrates knowledge of booking creative and effective media campaigns
  • Manages media agencies, creative agencies, event agencies, and promotional partnerships
  • Serves as a key contact across the development group to supply them with key consumer and marketing insight
  • Defend, champion, and evolve the voice of ATLUS brands (Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, etc.)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Brand Marketing, the Brand Director is charged with driving world class product marketing and performance across a portfolio of games. Working closely with studio partners and other business stakeholders, you will lead your team to shape the brand vision, marketing strategy and go-to-market tactical plan as well as drive the business plan for your titles across the Western Market. As an accomplished marketer and team leader you will manage and grow your team, develop strong planning processes, and play a pivotal role as part of the marketing leadership team that will continue to drive innovation and constantly advance Sega’s Western marketing capability and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the brand owner for all aspects of Western marketing leadership across a portfolio of assigned titles; This includes owning full lifecycle management from long-range portfolio planning to foundational marketing strategy to go-to market execution and postmortem
  • Act as a highly collaborative custodian of integrated marketing across multiple partners including communications, community, sales, creative services, events, paid media, 1st parties, external agencies, EMEA teams and developers
  • Lead the development of brand positioning, audience definition/sizing and the over-arching marketing strategies
  • Mentor and develop a team of communications, community and brand leads
  • Drive the timely planning and execution of go-to-market plans across all marketing channels
  • Support the inline/greenlight process with market insights and forecast rationale all while representing the needs of players in the West
  • Own the Western P&L and manage the marketing budget across your portfolio

  • Must be a gamer and care deeply about representing the needs of players
  • Japanese language skills and experience working with Japanese corporations are a plus but are not required
  • Ability to leverage quantitative analytic measures, build business cases to support initiatives and focus on KPI / ROI metrics

Job Summary:

This position assists in the preparation and processing of the company’s payroll and assists with other HR duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of payroll, salaries, and compensation data.
  • Audit Time & Attendance records and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate sick time and PTO balances.
  • Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in updating employee benefits information and verifying 3rd party billing.
  • Review, verify, and ensure proper accounting and accuracy for payroll transactions, benefits, and accruals.
  • Coordinate with the HR Department/Payroll Manager on inputting new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments in the payroll system.
  • Research and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll related issues.
  • Support Payroll Manager with running reports and ensuring HR Compliance.
  • Organize employee files and records.
  • Assist with New Hire on-boarding and orientation meetings.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks.
  • Assist with celebration planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of payroll and general HR experience.
  • College level courses in related field.
  • Working knowledge of a Payroll/HRIS system (experience with Paycom is a plus).
