Social Media / Community Analyst

Summary

Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) Project has an immediate opening for a Social Media / Community Analyst who will take on an active role in outwardly representing the brand and establishing a thoughtful and engaging social media presence for a major free-to-play multiplatform MMORPG title.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies
  • Use existing/strong experience in paid social to activate programs across networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Work alongside the community management team to determine measurement plans
  • Leverage and manage social listening tools/projects to develop strategies and analyze competition and audience segments
  • Maintain content calendar, outlining promotional efforts across all social channels
  • Work alongside marketing team and PR agencies to adjust messaging based on social analysis
  • Utilize social analytics tools to analyze content promotion efforts and adjust strategies as needed
  • Launch ads with no errors
  • Create new and innovative ways to engage brands through social media
  • Continuously research the evolving social media space, staying on top of trends, new networks, and shifts in consumer behavior

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Five years of experience as a Community Manager or Social Media Coordinator in the online games industry
  • Excellent skills of using social analytics tools to analyze content promotion efforts and adjust strategies
  • Associate’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or creative fields preferred
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment and on individual projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience running or contributing to social media campaigns for video games or digital entertainment products
  • Active engagement in current games industry news with a deep understanding of gamer culture in social media, particularly pertaining to MMORPGs
  • Excellent written communication and creative writing skills

Bilingual Translator, Japanese/English

Summary

Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) Project has an immediate opening for a skilled bilingual translator with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and fluent proficiency in Japanese and English.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Translate documents from Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese with accuracy and efficiency
  • Sit-in on conference calls, facilitating communication between multiple parties by translating in real-time
  • Attend meetings and stand-ups, ensuring all communicated points are clearly translated and delivered to both Japanese and English speaking attendees

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably from a Japanese school
  • Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with exceptional writing skills in both languages
  • Prior experience and close familiarity with the Microsoft Office software suite
  • Basic understanding of the online games industry is preferred, but not required

Community Management Coordinator

Summary

Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) Project has an immediate opening for a Community Management Coordinator who will take on an active role in outwardly representing the brand and establishing a thoughtful and engaging social media presence for a major free-to-play multiplatform MMORPG title.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging written and visual content for all major social media platforms while representing the product in a connected and professional manner while adhering to brand values
  • Manage official player communication by drafting and posting notices on the official website to communicate with the community of end-users, providing important news, updates, and promotional content
  • Identify needs, problems, common opinions, and end-user sentiment through social media and official community channels, and inform management using written and verbal communication
  • Use official social channels and the official community forum to drive user engagement by working in a team environment to identify, plan, and execute community events
  • Become a product expert and participate in livestreams and video productions as an informational and authoritative brand representative
  • Monitor and track KPIs of posts and activities, analyze results & report to management
